Driving Traffic to your Virtual Assistant Website

Like anything new, getting the word out about your new company takes time.  Fortunately with the way technology and the internet have evolved we are able to speed up the process by using platforms like; Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social media networking sites.  It’s important to build up your social media awareness early on, to gain an interest in who and what you are about, so as to avoid disappointment when you come to launch your business or product.

By using social media platforms you will start to gain a presence, so share information relating to your industry.  It allows others to get to know you over time and build relationships, always be true to yourself.  Start by looking for bloggers who write about the things that you find interesting and important to you.  Then share those posts you think are appropriate to others, it’s a great way to connect with individuals and also chat with people who have more experience and may be able to help you.

Find out what others are talking about on Instagram, YouTube and Google+, if it’s the right topic for you, don’t be afraid to join in the conversation and chat with them.  The more you talk to the community, the stronger your connections will grow.  Remember; you can always use the online network to build your in-person network too, why not see if there are any local meetups near you by asking your Twitter following?  Or suggest meeting with friends via a Facebook Group?

There are many ways to raise the awareness of you and your company to other businesses via social media.  From one little post great things can happen, depending on what a person or company is looking for and whether you have what they need.  Do you have a special offer on?  If so, let people know about it by sharing a link.  Be sure to optimise your content for social sharing and you will soon grab people’s attention and more importantly connect with them.

Sharing content via social media platforms is a great way to engage with your potential client base. Sharing links to relevant content can go some way to helping you be seen as a thought leader within your area of expertise. However, when sharing someone else’s content you may feel that you are doing nothing other than driving traffic away from your online presence. This is where using a tool such as Sniply can come into it’s own.

For example, you can attach a button to the page that links to your own website, so that people can discover you while they read. Why not sign up for a free Sniply account and drive traffic back to your site through all that great content you share across your social networks.

Sharing is Awesome, Thank You! :)
