WordPress governance was a hot topic at WordCamp US 2018. This year, Rachel Cherry and Morten Rand-Hendriksen are starting to get the ball rolling on what they call the WordPress Governance Project. This project is an “unsanctioned” group by the WordPress organization, so they have to host their own Slack instance and list their events in places other than the official WP events list. In this week’s News Drop, we talk to Rachel about the goals of the project and the difficulties they have faced along the way.
